Sistabeada – Jane Roberts, jewellery

Tingles Bakehouse is lucky to share the building with Sistabeada, a gallery of aristan beads and jewellery. This shop was formerly known as the Nornalup Bead Gallery and was here 10 years before the bakehouse came along. There is a family connection – the bead gallery is run by Jack’s parents Jane and Johnny. The beautiful jewellery is made on site by Jack’s mother Jane Roberts who specialises in lampwork glass beads. Jane and Johnny also share a passion for gemstones and jewellery from around the world. This shop is a true hidden gem for anyone interested in artisan jewellery. Opening hours vary, but generally the shop is open same hours as us. Please phone 0475 240 698 in advance to confirm their opening hours.

Lumi Studio – Hedi Lelumees, drawings

Next to her barista skills, Hedi has also filled the walls and shelves of Tingles Bakehouse with her artwork. She captures the different characters of local wildlife with her detailed charcoal portraits. Mostly focusing on the South West WA animals, she aims to bring more attention to the endangered wildlife. Her range of cards and magnets gives you a chance to get familiar with the wonderful animals and birds hiding in the forest. Hedi has also started experimenting with pastels to add more colour to her work. Her lastest pastel drawings feature native plants and this has opened a whole new world to explore.
