Dear friends of Tingles Bakehouse,

With great regret we will have to announce that Tingles Bakehouse will not be opening again and is PERMANENTLY CLOSED due to private matters.

It has been a valuable experience for us. It has shown that when you truly put your heart into something, people will notice it. Always keep learning new things, stay true to your values and be kind to people. We gave the best product, service and surroundings we could potentially give. And how lucky were we to have shared it with you! We had the best customers, who also became our friends.

We are very grateful for all the seasonal staff and helpers we’ve had throughout these years. Thank you Aurora, Hannah, Stacey, Karen, Jo, Elsie, Lailani and Maryen. Thank you to Jack’s parents Jane and Johnny for allowing us to fulfill our dreams and create a workplace for us. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Here is the life of Tingles from the beginning in 2014 to spring 2020. Thank you for all these memories. Life won’t be the same without our special place. It made us who we are today.

Frozen pie sales finished

Our frozen pie sales are now finished for this year. It started as something different while we figured out our options in the middle of the pandemic. Our season usually ends with Mother’s Day (start of May), but this year was different.

Now that things are getting back to normal, we might as well get into what we normally do during our break. Which is… Rest, recover, create, organise, clean, garden, read, get inspired, connect. Ready to reopen our business for the sixth season on 1st of November.

Tingles Bakehouse pies available with Walpole Community Resource Centre help

The isolation has brought us to new ways of selling our pies. As people are restricted with movements and our premises in Nornalup has been shut to the public since 31/03, we’ve got a temporary solution. Tingles Bakehouse will take orders for frozen pies that you’ll be able to pick up from Walpole CRC and enjoy later on from the comfort of your own home!

Pies available:

  • free range chicken and vegetable $7.50
  • slow cooked lamb shank with vegetables and rosemary $8.60
  • pumpkin and feta with caramelised onion and thyme (vegetarian) $7.10

Please put in your order by Sunday 3pm for next week pick up from Walpole CRC. You can order through phone 0475 240 698, email info@tinglesbakehouse.com.au or Facebook message. There is no minimum order.

Payment will be arranged via credit card over the phone or direct deposit to our bank account prior to pick up.

Your order will be waiting for you at Walpole CRC Tuesday–Friday 9am–4pm. Please pick it up at your earliest convenience so their freezer will have enough space for everyone.

Also possible to arrange a pick up/delivery to other nearby areas.

New pie

We have a new pie for our vegetarian friends! It’s vegetable curry with Indian style korma and fresh herbs. It has just the right amount of flavour, but is not spicy.
